Aero is a Windows tweak panel for gamers. Every change is logged, and every change has a revert button.
The FPS counter in Fortnite on one PC, before and after applying Aero's tweaks. Drag the slider to compare.
One test run on one PC. Average FPS rose a lot, but the lowest value barely moved, so don't expect every number to improve. Results vary with your hardware, drivers and settings.
Three steps, and you stay in control the whole time.
Run Aero.exe and allow admin access, which Windows needs for system settings. Aero offers to create a Windows restore point before you change anything.
Each tweak is a card that says what it changes in plain words. Press Apply on the ones you want, and skip the rest.
Use the Monitor page and the ping test to see what changed. Not happy? Press Revert and your original setting comes back.
Tweaks sorted into pages, each one explained before you use it.
Live FPS, CPU, GPU and RAM, plus a small overlay you can show over your game. GPU stats need an NVIDIA driver.
Turn off mouse acceleration, raise game scheduling priority, use classic fullscreen mode, and enable GPU scheduling. These target input delay on your own PC.
Remove Windows' network throttling, turn off Nagle's algorithm, switch to Cloudflare DNS, and test your ping before and after. These cut local delay and spikes, but can't change your route to the game server.
Switch off Game DVR background recording, turn on Game Mode, speed up menus, startup and shutdown, and stop the Sticky Keys popup mid-game.
Switch to the High Performance power plan, and start Fortnite with higher CPU priority.
NVIDIA digital vibrance presets (Subtle, Clear enemies, Vivid, Max) change the same setting as NVIDIA Control Panel. Other GPUs get Windows color presets.
Changing system settings should never feel risky, so Aero is built around undoing.
On launch, Aero offers to create a Windows restore point, a snapshot you can roll your whole PC back to.
Before a tweak changes anything, Aero stores your original value on your PC. Revert puts it back exactly.
The few actions that can't be undone, like cleaning temp files, say so and don't pretend to have a Revert button.
Aero doesn't edit game files or inject into games, and the app doesn't collect your usage data.
One-time or monthly. Replace these with your own numbers.
Yes. Nearly every tweak has a Revert button, and Aero can create a Windows restore point first. A few one-way actions, like cleaning temp files, are labelled.
It can, but results depend on your hardware. Aero removes background load and tunes settings, and it won't turn a weak PC into a strong one.
Aero changes Windows and driver settings only, and doesn't touch game files or inject into games. We can't promise any game accepts any setting, so check your game's rules.
Yes, except the NVIDIA-only parts: vibrance presets and GPU usage stats. You still get Windows color presets and every other tweak.
It reduces delay and spikes caused by your own PC. Your ping to the game server mostly depends on distance and your internet provider, and no tweak changes that. Use the built-in ping test to compare.
